Passerby

And there he is

holding his beloved Dan Brown book
face full of wonder
why everything
seems so intense
perhaps,
painful.

He missed
seeing my eyes
overlooked
my curiosity
and hunger
for attention.

I need to know his name
“Love”
suits him better
but let’s give justice
to whoever picked his name

Though,
he’s leaving
pretty much
normal
for a guy.
